I wrote a story, but don't wanna post yet

So I expanded an idea I had, from two paragraphs to 2500 words, but now I feel as if I want to continue it.

It's about girl and her ex-boyfriend from hell. Literally.  What I wrote feels more like a first chapter, though, so I think I'm going to expand a bit more on it before posting.

I submitted "A Night on the Town" for the Writers of the Future quarter. Fingers crossed! 

This story about the boyfriend from hell is slanted towards dark humor, so if I get beyond 7K words (maybe even 10K) I might save it for the next quarter of the contest. 

I should probably do some more research into online magazines, or start posting my stuff elsewhere. We'll see.
