Update...

So, I haven't written in a few weeks, I'm sad to say. There's been a lot going on. Amazing, great things, thankfully. We've got family visiting, had to go on a business trip, and now am sitting down at the home office again working my 8 to 5. 

I'm going to write something this week, one way or another. I'm blocking off my 5 pm to 7 pm today.

I threw down the NaNoWriMo 2016 gauntlet for my writing group friends, but I'm torn between two stories to do that month. One's sort of a time travel mystery thriller type that I actually brainstormed with my wife during a bout of insomnia (trying to get her to sleep, hahaha) a few months ago. The other I mentioned, in my first post, is basically a "zombie" book, but not really. Both are very much sci-fi oriented, and both entail a fair amount of research just so I don't look too amateurish pulling stuff out of thin air. 

We'll see which one I do. 

For now, break's over. Back to my actual, paying job.
